Earth Arts
This October we held a weekend gathering for the first time in 12 years! For the rebirth of Earth Arts, we partnered with our sister organization, IndigenEYEZ. We are so thankful to have been able to run this camp with them. It was a beautiful weekend of connecting to the land, connecting to self and others, working with ideas about self-care, and learning to stay safe and empowered in challenging times.
We are so grateful to have been able to hold this camp on the traditional lands of the T’sou-ke Nation at Camp Thunderbird. We made emergency self-care boxes to fill with items that help us to feel grounded and loved, we learned new songs, we met trees, and took part in workshops that included: forest foraging, songwriting, dream-catcher making, and creative movement.
Thank you to all who attended for creating such a rich weekend full of connection and community. |
